On behalf of the North Florida Chapter ASSP, Chapter President and the Executive Board, Happy New Year 2021, as we currently are still impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and unable to hold our regular Chapter meeting, to protect the health and well-being of our members and our local communities. To stay connected, our January chapter meeting will be a virtual meeting presentation.
Topic Emotional Intelligence and its use in business
According to Daniel Goleman, an American psychologist who helped to popularize emotional intelligence, there are five key elements to it:
- Self-awareness.
- Self-regulation.
- Motivation.
- Empathy.
- Social skills.
